Between Image and Word

I guess here in DC, everyone needs events where they can rub elbows with everyone else. In the spirit of bringing people together, the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Program and the Asian American Literature Review are putting on a day long Symposium to bring together writers and artists. Or, writers and artwork. Asian American authors from around the APA nation will come together to talk about the portraits on display right now at the National Gallery of Art. All the information is in the flyer below and at www.apa.si.edu, so if you’re in DC, I will see you there. Right?
