About a year ago, I was in Hong Kong, where they sell a toothpaste called “Darlie”. 
A friend of mine from the mainland (China) uses the toothpaste, s0 I got a picture of the original packaging.
The green lettering on the left side of this picture literally says “haak yaan”, or “black person”. That’s right! Darlie Toothpaste was originally… DARKIE TOOTHPASTE! Complete with a grinning caricature !
Honestly, how do things like this survive in the world?
